Phoenix and I made another trip to Manhattan this morning, it's been 3 weeks since his surgery.  We are happy to report he is "satellite free"!!  He had his bottom stitches removed and is healing well.  Another week of soft food and then we will try and transition him to hard.  He had his first meal without the hood and it was still quite a struggle for him.  I hand fed him 3, then walked away and let him battle it out.  He made quite a mess of the floor, but was able to get some down.  Thank goodness for my hardwood floor steamer, it takes that junk right up!!

Cailey is happy to finally hug her buddy without that annoying hood!
