Like my sister, I spent Mother's Day on the soccer fields traveling from Olathe to watch my girls play, then on to Topeka to watch Brennan's team play in the Championship game at the Governor's Cup.  In between there, I shared a wonderful and healthy lunch with my daughters of McDonald's as we are traveling 70 mph down the highway towards Topeka.  BUT...there's nothing like the joy on their faces when they win their games, especially Rylie who scored a goal, Cailey who came oh so close and Brennan's team won the Governor's Cup.  He was highly disappointed that Governor Sebelius wouldn't be there to pass out the medals but (a) she isn't our Governor anymore and (b)...seriously??  Someone's son (ahem......Brennan) came up with the wonderful incentive of shaving their heads if they won the tournament....THAT is suppose to take place Tuesday at practice...we'll see what returns?!?

I can not take credit for any of the photograpy.  One of Cailey/Rylie's teammates, her dad takes pictures as a hobby.  He offers his pictures after each game and took team pictures yesterday....pretty amazing!
