We arrived yesterday around 5 p.m. and have been enjoying the peacefulness of the bubbling creek behind our "cabin".  We are certainly  not roughing it being as we have free internet, satellite TV and hot tub.  But you shut all that off and it's pretty amazing!  We spent today walking around the property, then to downtown Bryson City for lunch and another trip to the grocery store.  Tonight we plan to light up the fire pit and have some smores after dinner.  Thankfully the humidity has left.  Tomorrow we will do some more exploring and hiking!
